What is the Future of Artificial Intelligence in Kentucky?

As we head into the 2026 Kentucky Legislative session, we need to ask ourselves, "How will the "Genesis Mission" Executive Order affect not only the nation as a whole, but each state as they have concerns to address, that may now be impacted by this order. What will our legislature be able to do to protect our interests? The state of Kentucky has a special committee called Artificial Intelligence Task Force that has been meeting throughout 2025. You can see the minutes from their meetings here. |
We have been following developments in Artificial Intelligence, surveillance, digital currency, digital ID and the global control grid closely to see what impact this technology is having on individuals and families. The biggest concern as of late has been to follow the proposed bills prohibiting states from writing any of their own legislation related to Artificial Intelligence, and get the verbiage taken out. We followed the NDAA to its conclusion and not only were we not able to do that, but a whole different approach was taken. Along came President Trump's executive order called Genesis Mission. It proclaims to accelerate AI for scientific discovery and economic development. He simplifies the objectives of the mission in a short facesheet here. (All these documents are found on the White House website by clicking on the hyperlinks above). Now that the "Genesis Mission" Executive Order has been signed, what does it mean? And why does it need to call for “Eliminating State Law Obstruction of National A.I. Policy”? Fox News reports “Trump administration eyes sweeping federal power over AI, draft order shows” and days before that they reported “Trump calls for federal AI standards, end to state 'patchwork' regulations 'threatening' economic growth”. With the 2026 Kentucky legislative session right around the corner, I wonder what legislation related to A.I. our legislature had plans to propose. I think we should know how they feel about this most recent federal development and how it might impact their legislative efforts this session. The Executive Order states that action will be taken within 90 days from its signing. We encourage you to reach out to the members of the Kentucky Artificial Intelligence Task Force and express your concern over the unforeseen issues related to artificial intelligence that could negatively impact our state and we the people. While we know that science and economic development want to be unencumbered, we do not want to be left vulnerable to the unforeseen impact.

We followed the progress of the NDAA for 2026 and what we were looking for regarding states' rights was not clear. The final Bill for the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) has been signed and you can dive deep into that here if you would like. Including the matter of Artificial Intelligence. |

Here are excerpts from the "Genesis Mission" Executive Order with the verbiage as it relates to states' rights in legislating Artificial Intelligence. |

Marketing for the "Genesis Mission" is already in full swing, like they have been working on it for a while. In part, why hyper-scale data centers are such a focus right now it seems. |
Digital Currency and how it relates to Artificial Intelligence |
Kentucky has already passed legislation related to CBDC. Senate Bill 155 was the 2024 piece of legislation that gave us the legal framework for a Central Bank Digital Cryptocurrency for Kentucky. It also ended up outlawing Bitcoin and Etherium as money. They now have to be considered as financial assets like stocks. It is very important that we look at what the federal government may try to pass related to Central Bank Digital Currency. The NDAA this year progressed without the CBDC ban that the Republicans wanted. So no compfort there. The issues that we have been covering about CBDC’s, REAL ID and A.I. are all pieces of a control grid and a police state that will track and trace everything you do. Your data will not be private, your transactions will not be private, and you are already subject to surveillance. But on a positive note, new legislation is being proposed in Kentucky to address our monetary freedom and privacy (see post below). |

We Have Questions! |
While we have given you links to contact the Kentucky Artificial Intelligence Task Force members, it is a newly formed committee that this advocacy platform will not automate a message to, so you can copy and paste our information into an email directly to each of them. This advocacy will go to the Information Technology Committee with this automated link. |

Feel Free to "copy and paste" portions of this message into an email addressed to the Kentucky Special Committee Artificial Intelligence Task Force and ask them how they plan to navigate this on behalf of the interests of men and women in Kentucky. |
